V. Daphne Bernice Newman, was another daughter of John and Susan who was born February 21, 1890, in Port Stanley, Ontario, Canada; and died May 03, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, USA; She married (2) CHARLES MILLARD and (1) LEWIS WESTOVER.

Daphne (Della) Bernice Newman married Lewis (Aloisius) Westover in Sparta, Ontario on October 16, 1906. Lewis was a labourer who lived in Port Stanley. Daphne lived on Steele St in St Thomas, Ontario.

Daphne died on May 3, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio. Daphne still maintained her Canadian citizenship at the time of her death.

                   St. Thomas Daily Times, October 7, 1919 - Death of Infant. The death occurred on Saturday of Percy Clay Westover, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Westover, at Chatham, after a few days illness of Cholera infantum The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Newman, 7 Alexander Street. Rev. W.F. Brownlee officiated at the service. Interment was made in the Union Cemetery.

·          Vida Jane Westover born Port Stanley June 20, 1915. She married Frank M Panza on May 9, 1936 at St Rocco’s Church, Cleveland, Ohio USA. Her nickname was ‘Peggy’. Vida Jane (Westover) Panza and Frank Panza had John R Panza Sr on August 28, 1941 in Cleveland. John R Panza Sr died July 28, 1994 in Parma Ohio USA.

·          Percy Clay Westover born Chatham October 7, 1919. Percy died in Chatham in 1919 and is buried in Union Cemetery.

·          Charles (Chuck) Westover who married Martha (unknown) Westover and lived in Texas. They had four children, two girls names unknown and two boys Charles and Jackie Westover.

·          Donald Westover married Winifred (unknown) and they live in ST Thomas. Of their children only Donald Westover Jr. is known.

·          Jack Westover who married Helen (unknown) and lived in Ohio.

·          Frances Westover who died young.

As per a researching descendent, Daphne remarried a Charlie Millard, a friend of Lewis Westover and moved to Cleveland, Ohio, Daphne "Della: Millard died 3 May, 1951. (Reference U.S.A. death certificate).
